Wynne, AR : Man killed after train collides with car in Cross County on Monday afternoon, March 20, 2017

A man was killed and a woman was injured after a train hit a car in Cross County.

According to an Arkansas State Police preliminary crash report, the crash happened around 1:30 Monday afternoon near U.S. 49 and Arkansas Highway 364.

The report states that a 2006 Chevy Impala was headed west on a private drive when it crossed into the path of a train.

The passenger in the vehicle, 62-year-old Brad Holman of Forrest City, was thrown from the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, 80-year-old Earlene Lindsey of Paragould, was taken to Regional One in Memphis.
