Three people were injured Monday morning in a crash at the intersection of Pershing Street and Woodside Avenue.
About 11:30 a.m., a vehicle driven by Karen Williams, 69, of 624 Squaw Run Road, Wayne Township, collided with a vehicle driven by Patrick Joseph Recce, 49, of 151 Milne Drive, Monaca. Ellwood City police said Recce was traveling south on Pershing Street and Williams' vehicle was traveling east on Woodside Avenue.
Both drivers told police that their lights were green, and there were no witnesses.
Recce and his two passengers -- Lisa Stacey, of 151 Milne Drive, Monaca, no age available, and James Recce, 79, of 954 Peach St., Ellwood City -- were taken to Ellwood City Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident. Status of the three injured were unavailable Wednesday.
