CONCORD, NH : Motorcycle appeared to be racing before crash in Concord on Tuesday, October, 10th 2017
A motorcyclist appeared to be racing a car shortly before he was seriously injured Tuesday night in a crash in front of a McDonald’s restaurant in Concord, police said.
Police said the motorcyclist crashed just after 9 p.m. into a car outside the restaurant on Loudon Road.The motorcyclist, a man whose identity was not released, was ejected after the crash and suffered life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police said no one in the car was hurt in the crash.
Before the crash, a Merrimack County deputy sheriff on patrol on Loudon Road near the Steeplegate Mall spotted the same motorcycle and another car accelerate at a high rate of speed. Police said they appeared to be racing.
Police said the deputy tried to pull over the motorcycle, but the man fled and the deputy stopped pursuit.
A short time later, the deputy came upon the crash.
