BELFAST, TN : Child hit by semi on Highway 431 in Marshall County on Thursday, November, 16th 2017

Police say a child was hit by a semi while waiting for the school bus in Marshall County on Thursday morning.

The wreck happened near the intersection of Highway 431 and Adams Road.

The child was taken to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville.

Officials have not released her name but say she has serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
