Orofino, ID : A 22-year-old Lewiston man died in a motorcycle crash on Saturday, May 27, 2017

A 22-year-old Lewiston man died in a motorcycle crash May 27 near Skull Creek Road on the North Fork of the Clearwater River, according to a news release from Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO).
The crash was reported at approximately 6:30 p.m. Forest Service employees, Clearwater County EMS, and CCSO deputies responded to the scene.
The driver, Lucas Ahlers, had left the road and struck a tree, according to CCSO. Ahlers, who was wearing a helmet, succumbed to his injuries, according to CCSO.
