A Jonestown man was killed early Monday morning in a crash on Interstate 81 in Dauphin County, according to state police at Harrisburg.

Ronald Raymond Crissey, 55, was heading north on the interstate when a blanket that was strapped to his motorcycle became tangled in the rear wheel, causing it to lock up and skid out of control at 2:14 a.m. at milemarker 69.7 in Lower Paxton Township, police said Tuesday. The motorcycle came to rest in the right lane of the interstate

Crissey was not wearing a helmet, police said.

"Witnesses described Crissey to be lying unresponsive in the right lane when it appeared that several truck tractor-trailers ran over Crissey and his motorcycle," according to police. The truck tractor trailers continued north on I-81 without stopping.
