A Salem man has died from injuries suffered in a single-car crash Sunday morning in Manchester.
Dead is Brian MacIntyre, 51. He was the store manager of Crosby's Market in Manchester.
Employees of the state Department of Transportation reported a single-car crash on the Pine Street on-ramp to Route 128 northbound at 7:33 a.m.
When Manchester police and firefighters arrived, they found a pickup truck had crashed through the highway guardrail and flipped over against the embankment.
MacIntyre was found unresponsive a short distance from the pickup, police said.
He was given medical aid at the scene and as he was taken to Beverly Hospital.
The state medical examiner told the Manchester Police Department at 11:33 a.m. that MacIntyre had died from his injuries.
State police are investigating the accident.
