ALCOA, TN : APD Driver dies after wrong-way crash on Alcoa Highway on Saturday, 7th September 2024

The driver involved in a wrong-way crash on Alcoa Highway has died from his injuries, the Alcoa Police Department said.

Jose Ramos was traveling south in the northbound lanes of Alcoa Highway when he crashed head-on into another car on Saturday, Sept. 7, according to APD.

Ramos was transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center where he later died from his injuries, APD said.
