Long Neck, DE : Man killed, woman injured when car, minivan crash in Long Neck on Wednesday night, July 6, 2016

Delaware State Police say a man was killed when the minivan he was driving collided with a car at an intersection in Long Neck.

The agency said in a news release that late Wednesday night, 58-year-old James Waltz of Millsboro was driving south on Indian Mission Road approaching Harmons Hill Road. Troopers say the minivan had the right of way at a stop sign, but when it entered the intersection, it collided with a car that failed to stay stopped.

Police say Waltz was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers say the driver of the car, 18-year-old Sara Lingo Millsboro, was taken to a hospital with undetermined injuries.
