Trenton, ME : 53-year-old Brenda Woods died and second driver injured in a head-on crash in Trenton on Monday, November 24, 2014

Police say neither driver was wearing a seatbelt in a head-on crash that killed a Hancock woman. The Hancock County Sheriff's Office tells radio station Star 97.7, that 53-year-old Brenda Woods died in the crash that happened just before 10 a.m. Monday Police say Woods was heading north near the Bar Harbor golf course when she crossed the center line on a curve and hit 24-year-old Jennifer Richter of Lamoine head-on. Woods died at the scene and Richter was taken to an area hospital. The details of her injuries were not released.
