Bridgeport, CA : Dayton man dies after a bike crash near the Mono Village campground in Bridgeport on Monday, July 20th, 2015
(MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Authorities said a Dayton man was found dead after a bike crash near the Mono Village campground in Bridgeport.
The Mono County Sheriff's Office said it received a report of an unconscious man located near the Mono Village campground at Twin Lakes in Bridgeport on Monday at about 1 p.m.
Authorities said the man was reportedly riding mountain bikes with his grandson when he crashed and went over the handle bars of the bike. Mono County Paramedics, Bridgeport Fire Department, and the Mono County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the area. Upon arrival, authorities said they found the man dead.
The man has been identified as Kennedy Feulner, age 72, of Dayton.
Mono County authorities said the cause of Feulner's death is pending autopsy results; but it appears to be caused by traumatic injuries he sustained in the crash.
Foul play is not suspected in the cause of death, authorities said.
