Lakeland, FL : Bicyclest died after being struck by a vehicle on Friday morning September 26th 2014

A man died after being struck by a vehicle in Lakeland, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said they found the victim’s body in a ditch near Kathleen Road Friday morning after they received a tip just after 8 a.m. Friday. Investigators also found a bicycle near the victim’s body. They believe he was struck by a vehicle sometime between 5 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Deputies have not positively identified the victim and are investigating the incident.
