Orlando, FL : One dead in crash on State Road 19 near Umatilla Sunday, April 9, 2017

A 56-year-old Bonita Springs man died Sunday in a one-car crash on State Road 19 near Umatilla.

The man was driving a motorcycle south on SR 19 near Golden Gem Drive around 9:30 p.m. when he went onto the right shoulder.

He hit a drainage ditch and flipped off the bike.

He ended up on the road and was taken to the hospital where he died.

His name was not released.

The crash remains under investigation.
