Augusta, GA : 51-year-old Hephzibah man was killed in a bike accident on Wednesday, 20th June 2018

A 51-year-old Hephzibah man was killed in a bike accident late Wednesday evening.

According to a Richmond County Sheriff’s Office news release, Harold Keith Slater turned his bicycle left into the path of a vehicle on the southbound lane of Peach Orchard Road at Byrd Road. The driver of the vehicle was unable to stop and struck Slater.
