Topeka, KS : Man killed late Tuesday in one-vehicle crash in southwest Kansas on Tuesday, November 15th 2016
A 56-year-old man was killed late Tuesday in a one-vehicle crash on a gravel road in Stanton County in extreme southwest Kansas, authorities said.
The victim was identified as Edward L. Bezona, of Johnson.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at 10:35 p.m. on County Road T, south of US-160 highway about two miles south of the town of Manter.
The patrol said Bezona was driving a 1998 Ford Windstar minivan north on County Road T when he lost control of the vehicle, which entered the east ditch and rolled two times.
The patrol said Bezona, who was alone in the minivan, was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The patrol said he wasn’t wearing a seat belt.
