Oakland,OK : Maryland man dies in single-vehicle crash on Indian Nation Turnpike in McIntosh County on June, Sunday 4th 2017

A Maryland man died after the car he was driving on a turnpike crashed on Sunday afternoon in McIntosh County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

Killed was Mark Schwartz Jr., 27, of Fulton, Maryland.

He was driving a 2016 Toyota Camry north on the Indian Nation Turnpike about 2:05 p.m., when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a guard rail and he was ejected.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, near the town of Hanna, about 20 miles south of Henryetta.
