Man killed in car accident Friday night in Las Vegas Nevada

A 30-year-old man was killed in car accident at about 10:31 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, in the 11000 block of Las Vegas Blvd. North, near Interstate 15.

According to Las Vegas police, the 2003 Honda CRV was traveling northbound at a high rate of speed when it left the roadway to the right.

The Honda traveled up an embankment and into the desert area and began to roll. The driver was thrown from the vehicle.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner will release his identity will be released once next of kin has been notified.
