Fort Myers, FL : Man injured after a vehicle crash in North Fort Myers on Thursday night, May 5, 2016

A North Fort Myers man was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital after a vehicle crash Thursday night.

David Martin Burris, 51, was injured after he lost control of his Nissan sports car at the intersection of April Lane and Pondella Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

His vehicle crashed into a Nissan Frontier, driven by Manuel Enrique Aguila, of Cape Coral. The crash occurred just before 10 p.m. Thursday.

Aguila and a passenger were transported to Lee Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

Burris is listed in critical condition.

Charges are pending in the crash.
