WAHNETA, FL : Person injured in accident near Wahneta on April, Friday 14th 2017

An accident this afternoon at Bomber Road and Falcon Crest Drive in Wahneta has sent one person to the hospital.

The two-vehicle accident happened about 4:30 p.m. and was cleared by 6 p.m., according to a Polk County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman.

Few details are available at this time but at least one person was transported to Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center for treatment, said spokeswoman Carrie Horstman.
