Boone County, IN :Pedestrian killed in crash on I-865 in Boone County on Saturday, July 4th 2015

A pedestrian was killed early Saturday in a crash in the westbound lanes of Interstate-865 in Boone County.The crash happened just after midnight near Zionsville, the Boone County Sheriff's Department said, when a woman ran out in front of a car driven by a man from Whitestown. The victim, identified as Kimberly Ann Jones, 38, of Indianapolis, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and two other passengers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
