Morrilton , AR :70-year-old Emily Jeannette Morse killed after Head - on Collision along Highway 9 on Friday, May 8th 2015

Arkansas State Police say a Houston, Arkansas, woman has been killed in a head-on collision on Highway 9 near Morrilton.

A report on the crash says 70-year-old Emily Jeannette Morse died Friday afternoon when the car she was driving northbound swerved into the southbound lane and collided with a sport utility vehicle. The crash occurred just south of the Arkansas River bridge south of Morrilton.

The report says the driver of the SUV was taken to a Little Rock hospital in undisclosed condition.
