One person was hospitalized Thursday after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Eglin Parkway on Thursday afternoon.
A maroon Chrysler sedan and a black Toyota Tundra truck collided when the driver of the Chrysler, driving north on Eglin Parkway, tried to turn left on Hollywood Boulevard while the driver of the Toyota truck was driving southbound through the intersection. The maroon Chrysler was struck on the right front passenger’s side.
The driver of the Chrysler, an adult male, was taken away in an ambulance.
Fort Walton Beach Fire Department and Fort Walton Beach Police Department responded to the call. Two policeman directed traffic. Southbound traffic on Eglin Parkway has been reduced to one lane.
