INDIANAPOLIS, IN : Crash involving semis, cars closes EB, WB lanes of I-465 near I-69 interchange on Tuesday, 19th November 2024

All lanes of Interstate 465 have reopened near the Interstate 69 interchange on Indianapolis' northeast side after a crash involving a semi and a diesel spill closed lanes for hours Tuesday morning.

INDOT confirmed around 5:30 a.m. Nov. 19 that a crash involving a semi into the barrier wall closed all eastbound lanes of I-465 near the I-69 interchange and the westbound express lane.

INDOT later confirmed that Indianapolis Fire Department crews reported a large diesel spill on the scene.
