KANSAS CITY, MO : One person has been killed in a crash in Kansas City on Sunday, June 11, 2017

Authorities say one person has been killed in a crash in Kansas City.

The Kansas City Star reports (http://bit.ly/2sRvwny ) that the crash happened early Sunday at 51st Street and Prospect Avenue when a southbound car went out of control. Police say the car left the road and struck an abandoned building on Prospect.

Investigators say the driver died at the scene.

His name had not been released by midday Sunday pending notification of his family.
