BIRMINGHAM, AL : 44-year-old UPS employee killed while leaving work in Birmingham on Tuesday, 9th April 2024

One person is dead after a shooting at a UPS facility in Birmingham Tuesday.

Birmingham Police officers were dispatched to 4601 Inglenook Lane at approximately 6:05 p.m. on reports of a person shot.

When they arrived, officers found 44-year-old Anthony Lamar Love, Jr., of Alabaster, unresponsive on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound.

Birmingham Fire and Rescue pronounced Love dead on the scene.
