PORT BYRON, IL : 1 dead, 2 injured following UTV crash in Port Byron on Sunday, 24th March 2024

A 53-year-old man has died following a UTV accident in Port Byron.

According to the Rock Island County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a residence in the 1200 block of 9th Avenue around 10:30 p.m. on Friday, March 22. They found the man trapped beneath an overturned UTV and attempted to perform life-saving measures, but the man died as a result of his injuries. The man's name has not been released.
