Authorities in Atlanta are investigating after a man was struck and killed on Interstate 85.Local media outlets report that the deadly crash shut down all southbound lanes of the road in northeast Atlanta early Sunday morning. The lanes reopened around 6:45 a.m.Atlanta police spokesman Donald Hannah tells the Atlanta Journal Constitution that the unidentified man was found dead lying in the road when officers arrived.Hannah says witnesses told investigators that the man ran out onto the interstate and in front of a car.He says police believe the man was struck by at least one more car after the initial collision.
