MEMPHIS, TN : Child thrown from car in hit and run crash search underway for driver on Tuesday, 9th May 2023

A child is in critical condition Tuesday after Memphis Police said they were thrown from a car during a hit and run crash in Hickory Hill.

Memphis Police responded to the a two-vehicle crash on Tulip Tree Drive and Clarke Road shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Investigators said a child was found ejected from the car, and taken to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in critical condition. A woman was also taken to Baptist East in non-critical condition.
