Five teenagers and an adult were injured Monday morning when a school bus crashed in Callaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the bus driven by Thomas Fox, 54, of Fulton was going over a low-water crossing on County Road 438 near County Road 425 when it hit a raised part of the road, causing the people in the back of the bus to go airborne and hit the roof and seats. Adair had been treated and released by Tuesday morning, said hospital spokesman Jeff Hoelscher. He said he did not have information about Grimsan’s condition. Two 15-year-olds, a 14-year-old and a 65-year-old woman were treated for minor injuries, the patrol said.
The South Callaway School District owns the 2002 Freightliner school bus, said Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt. Scott White.
