A Kennewick driver was taken to Lourdes Medical Center after a two-car crash on the blue bridge Wednesday afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Noah J. Sandberg, 18, was driving north in the right lane about 4:47 p.m. in a 1965 Volkswagen pickup when he made an unsafe lane change and struck a 2005 Nissan Murano driven by Renee Pomerinke, 60, of Pasco, state police said. The pickup struck the guardrail and rolled.
Pomerinke was wearing a seat belt and was not injured, state police said.
Sandberg was not wearing a seat belt, state police said. He was cited for improper lane travel. It was not clear Wednesday night whether he was treated at the hospital.
