BAILEY COUNTY, TX : Man killed in Bailey County car accident identified on Saturday, December 10th, 2016
The Texas Department of Safety has released the name of the man killed in a Bailey County car accident Saturday morning.
Daniel Olivas, 29, of Muleshoe was killed he drove through a stop sign and was struck by another vehicle at approximately 6 a.m. Saturday.
DPS tells us that Olivas was driving a Chevy Surburban north bound on FM 3369. He ran a stop sign and was hit by a Ford pickup traveling east bound on U.S. 70.
Olivas was prounounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup, Guerrero Olmos, 33, of Muleshoe and a passenger had minor injuries. They were released at the scene.
