Johnson, VT : Woman injured in a crash involving a milk truck and a car on Route 15 in Johnson on Sunday, May 3, 2015

A crash involving a milk truck and a car has left a woman in serious condition.

It happened just around 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Johnson. Police say 22 year-old Kelsi Sharron's car crossed the center line on Route 15 into oncoming traffic. The milk truck's driver attempted to swerve, but the two vehicles collided, causing the truck to catch fire.
Sharron was airlifted to UVM Medical Center. The Stowe woman was reported in stable condition Sunday night. The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries.

Authorities say that the use of a hand held electronic device may have contributed to the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
