Kountze, TX: 60-year-old man killed in single-vehicle crash on Friday afternoon August 7th 2015

A 60-year-old Beaumont man died late afternoon Friday in a single-vehicle accident as a result of "horseplay" in Village Creek, between Kountze and Silsbee, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Frank Carl Richardson Jr. died after the vehicle rolled over three times on TX 327 westbound when the driver, a 53-year-old Arizona woman, lost control while horse playing, Trooper Stephanie Davis said.
Richardson was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown out of the vehicle before it came to a stop in the woods.
Richardson was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Melissa Minton.
The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, had minor injuries, Davis said
