Pine Center, MN : Motorcyclist in critical condition after crash near Pine Center on Thursday afternoon, July 7, 2016

An 87-year-old rural Brainerd motorcyclist was in critical condition Friday after a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon.

Morris Olson, 87, was airlifted to North Memorial Center in Robbinsdale from the scene of the crash that occurred close to the intersection of County Highway 2 and County Road 113 near Pine Center.

According to the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office, Olson was operating a motorcycle and 43-year-old Amy Larson of rural Brainerd was driving a pickup truck when the vehicles crashed. Larson suffered no apparent injury.

A hospital official confirmed Olson was in critical condition Friday afternoon.
