Tuscaloosa, AL : A fatal crash in Bibb County on April, Saturday 29th 2017

Alabama State Troopers believe alcohol may have been a factor in a fatal crash in Bibb County Saturday.

Gregory Paul White, 55, of Brent was killed in the crash on Friendship Road, troopers said. He was a passenger in a 1998 Mercury Mountaineer that struck a tree about five miles west of Brent at 8:50 p.m.

Calera resident Glenn Bradley McDonald, 42, was driving and survived the crash. He was hospitalized for injuries, according to troopers.

White, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
