Big Lake Township, MN : 23-year-old North Dakota resident dies in ATV crash in Sherburne County on Saturday, November 29, 2014

Authorities say a 23-year-old man has died in an all-terrain vehicle accident in Sherburne County. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office said Sunday that Travis Mahaffey died in the crash early Saturday in Big Lake Township. The Minot, North Dakota, resident was taken to a Robbinsdale hospital and pronounced dead about four hours later at 4:40 a.m. Authorities haven't released details of the crash.
