DUNKLIN COUNTY, MO : Man riding moped scooter airlifted following collision with semi on Saturday, 12th October 2024

A Kennett man was seriously injured after a collision early Saturday morning in Dunklin County, Missouri.

According to the Mo. State Highway Patrol, it happened at around 1:10 a.m. on October 12 on U.S. 412, just 4 miles east of Kennett.

A semi-truck was traveling westbound when it rear-ended a moped scooter that was driving ahead.

The driver of the moped, 46-year-old Andrew C. Peek, was airlifted to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee for serious injuries.
