Two people on a motorcycle were killed Saturday night in an accident in Lewisville.

Witnesses told police investigators that the bike had been traveling at a high rate of speed, weaving in and out of traffic in the southbound lanes of Interstate 35E.

The initial investigation indicates that the driver lost control and crashed into a guardrail just north of the Corporate Drive intersection.

Neither person on the motorcycle was wearing a helmet. Their names have not been released.
