Union , SC : 79- Year old man was Struck killed While He was attempting to turn left on SC 215 in Union County on Friday , January 23rd 2015

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said an elderly man has died following a crash on Friday.

Troopers said a 79-year-old man was attempting to turn left on SC 215 in Union County on Jan. 23 when he was struck by another car.

According to troopers, the man did not yield right-of-way.

The man was taken to the hospital for injuries following the crash.

Troopers said he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday at Spartanburg Regional Hospital.

The Union County Coroner identified the victim as 79-year-old Grady Tucker Sr. of Mount Lebanon Road, Buffalo.
