Manchester, CT : One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at Interstate 84 On Thursday, June 30th, 2016

A two-vehicle accident on Interstate 84 eastbound this morning between a cement truck and van used for transporting special needs students resulted in one person being brought to the hospital with a leg injury, authorities

said.
According to 8th Utilities District Fire Department dispatcher Todd Sise, the department received the call about the accident near Exit 63 at 7:02 a.m. and had cleared the scene within a half-hour.
Sise did not know which vehicle the injured person was in or what hospital the person was taken to.
Sise also said that no cement had spilled from the truck during the accident.
