TOWN OF FLOYD, NY : A 35-year-old man was killed in a one-car crash on April, Thursday 27th 2017
A 35-year-old man was killed in a one-car crash this afternoon in the town of Floyd in Oneida County, deputies said.
Derek Calandra, 35, of Camroden Road, was driving a 2007 Cadillac northbound on Camroden Road when his vehicle traveled off the west side of the road, hitting two trees before coming to a stop, police said.
Deputies said the accident occurred at 12:20 p.m. today.
Calandra was taken by ambulance to St. Luke's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said the investigation into the accident and what caused it is continuing.
