BLACK OAK, AR : 2-vehicle crash shuts down at Highways 18 and 135 outside of Black Oak on Monday, 30th July 2018

A two-vehicle crash shut down Highway 18 Monday morning.

The crash happened before noon near the intersection of Highways 18 and 135 outside of Black Oak.

According to a Region 8 News reporter on the scene, the crash involved a car versus a pickup truck.

The female driver of the car suffered a broken leg, according to officers on the scene, and was being flown to the hospital.

Traffic on both sides of Highway 18 was shut down as crews worked to clear the scene.

Arkansas State Police, as well as the Craighead County Sheriff's Office, Monette Police and Fire Departments, and Emerson Ambulance all responded to the scene.
