An Atlanta woman died and another woman was seriously hurt in an automobile accident Friday on Thigpen Trail at Highway 37 West.

Ashleigh Victoria Munro, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The SUV in which Munro was a passenger apparently pulled in front of a semi truck, officials said at the scene. No other details of how the wreck occurred were available as the Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team continued its investigation.

The driver of the SUV, whose identity has not been released, was taken by helicopter to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, the GSP said. Her condition was not available.
