The victim in a deadly crash east of Colorado Springs was publicly identified on Friday.
According to Colorado Springs Police, crews were called to the area of Marsheffel and Drennan for a three-car crash just before 9 p.m. The area is east of Colorado Springs.
Responding officers say two cars crashed head-on. Two people in one vehicle died on the scene, while the driver of the second vehicle had to be rescued by firefighters. That person was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
On Friday, police shared the latest in their investigation.
