JEFFERSON CITY, MO : Perry man involved in injury crash on Tuesday, 23rd October 2018
A Perry, Mo., man was involved in a Tuesday morning crash in Cole County that injured a Versailles, Mo., man.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2001 Infinity QX4 driven by Darrell G. Hall, 61, of Perry, and a 2000 GMC S15 driven by Bruce L. Burkhart, 56, of Versailles, were westbound at 11:20 a.m. on U.S. 54, about 107 feet east of Monticello Road. The patrol said the Infinity struck the rear of the GMC, which then traveled across the median into the eastbound lanes of U.S. 54 before striking three mailboxes and a sign post.
Burkhart was taken by ambulance to Capital Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.
The patrol said Hall was wearing a seat belt, but Burkhart was not.
