Fayette, AL : Sulligent man dead in Fayette County crash on Tuesday, May 10, 2016

A crash in Fayette County yesterday left one man dead.

Michael Wayne Woolbright, 23, was driving a 2002 Ford Ranger on Alabama 18, when his car left the roadway and hit a tree around 6:45 p.m.

Woolbright, of Sulligent, was pronounced dead on the scene, Senior Trooper Johnathan Appling with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said.

The crash happened near mile marker 19, six miles west of Fayette.

Appling said that Alabama State Troopers are investigating the accident.
