Phoenix, AZ : Pedestrian hit by car near 15th Avenue and Hatcher Road on Monday, 16th March, 2020

A woman was injured when she was hit by a car Monday evening near 15th Avenue and Hatcher Road, according to Phoenix police.

The collision occurred around 7 p.m. Police said the 40-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

The driver, a 58-year-old man, remained at the location after the crash. Police said he suffered minor injuries.

Based on witness interviews, the woman was not in the crosswalk at the time of the collision, police said.

The investigation is still ongoing.
