Wooster, OH : Millersburg woman dies in a traffic crash in Saltcreek Township on Friday night, February 24, 2017

A Millersburg woman lost her life Friday night, the result of a single-vehicle crash along state Route 241.
Deborah S. Witner, 61, state Route 83, was transported by a Mount Eaton emergency squad to Affinity Medical Center in Canton, where she was pronounced dead, according to the Holmes County Sheriff's Office.
She was a front seat passenger in a 2001 Pontiac driven by Nicole L. Witner, 29, Mullet Drive, Killbuck.
According to the sheriff's office, Nicole Witner was northbound on state Route 241, south of Township Road 656, at 9:40 p.m., when she lost control of her vehicle.
It went off the left side of the road, where it struck an embankment and a fence, rolling twice before coming to rest on the driver's side in a pasture field, according to Chief Deputy Richard Haun, adding, Deborah Witner was ejected from the vehicle.
Nicole Witner suffered serious injuries and was transported by a Paint Township squad to Aultman Hospital in Canton, according to Haun, who said her condition was critical.
Her 5-year-old daughter, Savannah, who was belted into a child safety seat in the back of the vehicle, suffered minor injuries. She was taken by a South Central Fire District squad to Aultman Hospital, where she was treated and released, according to Haun.
Investigation into the crash is continuing, according to Haun, noting, seat belt use by both front seat occupants remains under investigation.
The Stark County Coroner’s Office, in cooperation with Holmes County Coroner Dr. Robert Anthony, will determine the cause of death.
