SPRINGFIELD, MO : A woman from Springfield died in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday, August 5, 2017

A woman from Springfield died in a two-vehicle crash north of the city.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Jeannie Rhoads, 69, was killed when the car she was riding in crossed the center line and hit a pickup truck on Missouri Highway 13. She was taken to a Springfield hospital, where she died a short time later.

The driver of the pickup suffered moderate injuries.

The Patrol report said Rhoads was not wearing a seat belt.
