NORWALK, CT : Man seriously injured in scooter accident on Thursday, August 10, 2017

An unidentified man was rushed to the hospital early Thursday morning after his scooter struck a parked vehicle, police said.
Norwalk police responded to Soundview Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Thursday on reports of an accident with injuries.
At the scene, police found an unidentified man suffering from “serious injuries,” said Lt. Terry Blake, a police spokesman.
The individual was transported to Norwalk Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Soundview Avenue was closed for about two hours following the crash as police investigated the scene.
The accident is still under active investigation, Blake said.
